introduction

Hello world, we have started this blog to talk about the hunger games and my fanfiction. We will be continuing this blog until the highly anticipated movie comes out! It will then become a blog for my fanfiction on deviantart.com! Now that the introduction is finished I will comment on the first book.

The hunger games is definitly my favourite book of all time. The plot is fantastic and the characters are very easy to relate to. My favourite part in the first book is when the mutts are chasing Katniss and Peeta to the cornicopia. If you really think about it, Cato's death is horrifying. He is basically being ripped apart by wolves, peice by peice. AWESOME but gross. Even though its written that Katniss killed him out of mercy I think that she still took a little pride in killing her toughest opponent. The murders written in the book are actually pretty gruesome. but to anyone who plays video games or watches horror movies its really nothing to be bothered about. To me I think that the 74th hunger games are the best, closely followed by the 125th :P ( sorry for shamlessly promoting my fanfiction ). Now Im going to list my top 3 favourite characters. In first place is Peeta because I really enjoy his characteristics and I have even been referred to as Peeta. Second is Finnick because he is a BOSS! his character is just so cool the way he can work the crowd yet also be a caring person with annie, and aslo he can kill with a vengeance. Third is definitly Clove because for some reason she sounds like the kind of silent killer you would definitly want in an alliance with you. Now my friend who has been reading my fanfiction since I started will talk about it.

The fanfiction has its twists and turns. It takes place as if the Capitol is back in controll again. It starts out with the main characters ( from district 4 ) waking up on the day of the reaping, I know that this sounds similar to the beginning to the first book but the plots are very diffrent from each other. The two main characters: Drayton and Mason two brothers training before the reaping. The fifth quater quell is where the book takes place. The 125th hunger games are complex, the quell is that after the first tributes are chosen, any number of volunteers can join the games as long as they are still within the age group. District4hero actually wrote the character Matt as himself. District4hero didnt want to make himself the main character but still wanted to be part of the games. Again like in the books, the fanfiction has its share of romance. Drayton finds himself falling for a tribute from another district. GASP! However the romance takes a tragic turn. We will not reveal how though. Also instead of one evil tribute like Cato, district4hero included multiple. until next time "may the odds be ever in your favor"!
